Some Cakewalk- related Web sites I recommend highly: Betty Kainz's Cakewalk tutorial A step-by-step introduction to Cakewalk MIDI editing commands. The lessons are based on Cakewalk 3.01, but most of the material is still valid. Betty's site will give you the "how-to" and my site will give you the "ok, but it still doesn't work: what now?" Ton Valkenburgh's CAL tutorial for Sonar An excellent reference on CAL. This material and mine give you the information you need for serious CAL programming. An excellent reference on CAL, but not updated for Sonar -- the basis of Valkenburgh's. CAL editor and other Sonar utilities Several useful items here. Alan Meyers's repository of CAL files A large and well-organized resource of CAL files. Cakewalk support -- newsgroups The Cakewalk newsgroups are addessable through the Cakewalk Web site. They are the best place on the Web to ask questions and get answers about Cakewalk products. Cakewalk technical support staff monitors some of these newsgroups and answers questions. CAL resources for developers Software which extends CAL to provide greatly increased flexibility in key bindings |
