This aerial photo from 1992 shows conditions previous to redesign and reconstruction of streets in the area. Brookline Street, running from the left bottom to top middle of the photo, is rather wide for the two blocks where it passes industrial buildings on its right. Brookline Street is two-way except at the extreme top of the photo. Granite Street, at the left middle of the photo, is one-way eastbound, toward Brookline Street There is an elementary school just past the grassy area at the left of the photo. Henry Street, which runs from the top to the middle right of the photo, connects Brookline Street with an industrial area above and to the right of the area in the photo.
