Looking north toward 43rd Street, in the block north of the bikeway. That's a bike lane between the parked car and the travel lanes. The pedestrians at the right side of the photo are walking in a lane designated as an extension of the sidewalk. This scene has changed with conversion of this block of Broadway to a pedestrian plaza in 2009.
