This Google Street View photo is of the same Chambers Street crossing as in the previous photo. The date is probably in the spring of 2008 or 2009. Construction projects impact sidepaths heavily. The orange construction-warning sign on the dischdrainer barrier has bicycle and pedestrian symbols and reads "detour." The sign on the pole reads "bicyclists must dismount and walk bikes." The row of flex posts dividing the bikeway into a wider and narrower part undermines that instruction by suggesting that the narrower part farther from the road is intended for pedestrians.
