Newton Street
This is the proposed cross section for Newton Street between West Roxbury Parkway and Grove Street. The shoulder on the north side of Newton Street has been removed, such that all traffic turning left into driveways on the south side would block through traffic. Bicyclists are to be accommodated only on a path in the parkland north of Newton Street, which would not be usable in winter. This segment is shown at the cross-section line here in the plans and here in the presentation.
