Let's look at what Berkeley has done for bicyclists. There's quite a bit of good stuff. On this street near the University of California, space near a fire hydrant (left) has been designated and improved for bicycle parking, taking advantage of space where motor vehicles could not park anyway. this photo and most others in this folder were taken in 1999; also see 2008 update photo.
