West end, old bridge
This is a panoramic photo -- scroll right as needed to see the rest of it. We look west from the old bridge. The long buildings were originally factory-worker housing, typical of old New-England industrial hubs. 1/3 of the way across the picture from the left is Danforth Street -- the Saxonville factory tower is visible in the background. To the right of the kiosk is Sudbury Landing, a small residential development. Traffic may enter Sudbury Landing only from the west and exit it only to the east, requiring detours of several blocks for many trips. If the one block of Danforth Street between Danforth Court and Sudbury Landing were two-way, the detours to the west would not be necessary.
