East end, old bridge
The east end of the old bridge abuts a cul de sac on Hillside Road. The slope up the hill is steep, but this is a workable route for any bicyclist who has low gears and good brakes, or is willing to walk a short distance. The old alignment of Danforth street curved to the right through the location of the two closest houses. The same buildings at the top of the hill are visible as in the previous photo. They were typical of housing for wealthy factory owners and managers. Scroll right as needed to see the rest of the panoramic image.
