My first Twenty
This is my First Twenty, just after I had first assembled it in 1979 -- still no rear rack or handlebar tape. The rims were Weinmann, the first aluminum-alloy ones available in the 406 mm size, with annoyingly narrow braking surfaces. I wore out a couple of tire sidewalls on these. Brakes were Mafac centerpulls with pivots brazed to the frame like modern U-brakes to overcome the Twenty frame's brake reach issue. I have more about this bicycle and about Twentys in general on another page.
