This outlines subtopics of the presentation. I question the "sustainably safe intersections" claim, because nearly all the intersections interrupt important bicycle routes, requiring pillar-to-post travel on sidewalks and in crosswalks, and in some cases opposite the flow of traffic. Also, what is the meaning of "sustainably safe"? Sustainability is an environmental issue, while safety is a traffic-engineering issue. The claim is made later in the presentation that this project will accommodate present traffic volumes without causing backups. I find this claim demonstrably false, and so sustainability, measured in terms of fuel consumption and pollution, will not be helped by this project. That is not even counting the resource consumption and pollution from construction.
