Borrowed image

This is the Google Maps image which the Northeastern students used without attribution. It is not practical to commission aerial views, and their availability on the Internet is a great convenience, though attribution still is required. Street-level views are accessible to anyone with a camera, raising the issue of academic ethics to a somewhat higher level. Dr. Furth's students have also borrowed images from my own Web site without attribution, for use in another project. Dr. Furth has apologized for that on behalf of his students. It has been a couple of years since his apology, but apparently he is not enforcing academic ethics, as the presentation here is new.
