Correct position

|
Approaching the small park from the south, Bert Hill demonstrates correct lane position, avoiding right-hook risk at this T intersection where all motor traffic in the right lane turns right. The bicycle marking encourages the correct position, though the position of the ramp at the end of the crosswalk discourages it. The marking is intended to have the effect of a shared-lane marking but is not the standard shared-lane marking. Compare with earlier photo with different markings, and another photo showing a bicyclist riding too far to the right.
