A new frame
I'll quote Sheldon describing another bicycle years and years ago. "This bicycle needs one new part -- [meaningful pause] -- a frame." In 2009, the braces ahead of the bottom bracket of my Twenty were rusting through from the inside. At that time, I was helping Sheldon's widow Harriet cull the large collection of bicycles and parts in the basement of their house. Harriet gave me a Twenty frame with a bent front fork. I already had a spare fork. The parts from my old Twenty came over to this frame, and I had Peter Mooney braze cantilever brake bosses and fender eyelets onto the replacement fork and re-bend it for less rake. The new rims are Sun CR-18s.
