The new Twenty seen from the front. The Union generator headlamp replaces the former Cateye lamp that was mounted on the left fork blade. The new headlamp is larger and brighter. Like the old one, it is powered by a 6-volt battery which I keep in a side pocket of the Carradice saddlebag. The front brake cable is inverted at the brake as well as the lever: the housing stop is on a barrel adjuster attached to the cable yoke, and the inner wire is clamped to the cable stop in the top headset. The inverted cables have enough slack so I can remove handlebar and stem and lay them over the frame when transporting the bicycle.
