About the genaeology

This genaeology was created by Julius Wile, a cousin of Helen Wile Stewart, the wife of Alexander M. Stewart. I have added a few additions and corrections.

Viewing and printing instructions

The version presented here is scanned from a photocopies of the original typescript pages. Viewing  on the computer screen is straightforward enough, using an Internet browser. The page width will fit on an 800 pixel wide computer screen. The original pages 2, 3 and 4 are reduced from large, pasted-up tables of family relationships. I have included enlarged scans which are easier to read.

Additions and corrections are on a separate page, accessible either directly or through clickable links in the bitmaps of the typescript pages.

Browsers print out at a resolution of 72 pixels per inch, and so printouts from your browser may be oversized. You may therefore want to print out the typescript pages directly from the GIF files of the scanned pages, using a graphics application instead of your browser. If you specify a resolution of 100 pixels per inch, the pages will print in the same size as the originals and will fit on standard letter-sized paper.
