Stop line etc.
We return to Grand Street, traveling eastbound. At the Y intersection with East Broadway (street entering only from the right), the bike lane extends to the stop line on one side and past it to the crosswalk on the other. Shared-lane markings are used inside the intersection, yet another kind. The bicyclist symbol facing right in them (and in New York City bike lane markings) is nonstandard, not that it makes an enormous amount of practical difference. (See this page. Note the construction work and delivery vehicles in the background which do not block the traveled part of the way. With the more open street layout, traffic tends to go faster here than on the west end of Grand Street. Traffic also is lighter here.
