In this photo taken in May, 2005, the Hudson River Greenway at 24th Street is closed off for a construction project. The entryway that crosses the bikeway has been narrowed -- note the double yellow centerline next to the bus, right side of picture. The sign reads "Shared use zone reduce speed." The path in the foreground is intended only for bicyclists, not pedestrians -- apparently, there is a sidewalk closer to the buildings on the right -- but the runner chose the bikeway instead. This is a composite image -- the runner is shown twice. But only the more distant image of the runner and the bus at the right are misplaced -- see next photo.
