Non-reflective paint
Where the Highway Department has installed reflectorized markers, it has used paint that is non-reflectorized or only slightly so. Scroll down as needed to see the shadow of my camera, not surrounded by any extra-bright glow. The paint is hardly brighter than the top, non-reflectorized surface of the reflectorized marker.
