Reflective paint

In the parts of the project where the edge lines are not highlighted by reflectorized markers, the Highway Department has used reflective paint. Scroll down to observe the glow around the shadow of my camera. The photo is intentionally underexposed to show that the paint glows whiter than white: reflective glass beads in the paint concentrate light back toward the source -- in this case, the sun, but at night, headlights. In my opinion, reflectorized paint, rather than the markers in slots, would have been the appropriate treatment everywhere in this project.
