Bridge to Plum Island
The Sgt. Donald Wilkinson Bridge, on the Plum Island Turnpike between Newburyport and Plum Island, has a grid deck like the other two bridges in this photo essay. There is a striped shoulder, and there is sufficient roadway width for motorists to overtake bicyclists.
