Inverted brake lever
The brake levers are conventional, old Mafac, the kind made for cables that arch upward. I have pulled back the brake lever hood to show the inner wire attached at the top of the lever body where the housing would normally go. The housing is attached inside the lever handle where the inner wire would normally go. I used a small ferrule (the kind used where the housing attaches to many old-type levers) to keep the housing from pulling through the fitting inside the lever handle.
