This picture of proposed conditions on West Roxbury Parkway is another unattributed, Photoshopped, borrowed image from Google Maps. My next slide will show the unaltered Google Maps version. The roadway already had only two lanes, but the Northeastern University students would radically narrow it, besides making it two-way. They would also narrow the opposite-direction roadway to a single lane. Judging by the height of the Segway rider in the photo, the street is about 10 feet wide -- clearly representing the lack of drawing skill of the students. Same location in the plans. The cross-section shows it as 22 feet -- still, too narrow to accommodate flexible use.
