This photo looks toward Grand Street from a bit closer than the previous one. What is the meaning of the three stop lines just to the right of the centerline?

Ciccarelli: It looks to me like an incomplete bike box. The heavy stop line is in the correct (advance) location before a bike box. The second, thinner, transverse line is in the correct location for a bike box, but it is not continued toward the curb. The incomplete shared-lane marking in the foreground isn't quite close enough to the curb to fit in a bike lane, were one striped here.

Faust: There may have been a truck parked against the curb when the striping was done, and this was as far as they could reach. I have seen stupider applications...
