Turning traffic
We're at Mulberry Street. Turning traffic here partially blocks the bikeway and crosswalks because traffic is congested on Grand Street. Under the law, vehicles may not enter the intersection unless they can get through it, but sometimes it's hard to tell whether that is possible. The bikeway is dashed through the intersection, without chevrons. The four examples so far in this series appear to show that New York City uses this marking at one-way streets that cross the bikeway from right to left.
