We back up a little and see the intersection with the traffic signal. As of 2008, the sidewalk has been lowered so the sidepath is at the same level for both directions of travel. The barrier posts have been replaced with a berm. Drain covers have been removed or relocated. Removal of trash has improved. Clearly, bicyclists are supposed to obey the regular traffic signal here, as there is no pedestrian signal. Note that motorists are only permitted to turn right from the roadway at the left side of the picture, avoiding hook turns across the bikeway and frontage road.
